The Galaxy Z Fold 3 and the Galaxy S21 Ultra both support the stylus pen. However, neither ship with the accessory out of the box. You have to buy it separately. The devices don’t even offer storage space for the S Pen within their body. So you needed a special case as well unless you’re okay with leaving the stylus pen at home while going out or carrying it in your pocket. Of course, this isn’t ideal. S Pen is a powerful accessory that can significantly enhance your productivity. Despite supporting the revolutionary accessory, the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and the Galaxy S21 Ultra didn’t offer the best experience with it because they lacked a built-in holster. An experience that we have come we enjoyed on the Galaxy Note phones, the original S Pen wielding Galaxy devices. Since Samsung no longer makes Notes, it is now looking to bring the same experience to its other flagship lineups. The Galaxy S22 Ultra strongly resembles a Note phone with sharp edges and an internal S Pen silo. This should continue with the next-gen Galaxy S series flagships as well, at least the Ultra model. But Samsung seemingly isn’t going to stop there. It wants to increase the appeal of its Galaxy Z Fold series foldables by adding storage space for the S Pen. And that could start with the Galaxy Z Fold 4 later this year. Of course, the company also has to work on the durability of the inner screen, which is highly scratchable at its current iteration. But things are shaping up nicely here. A big screen with S Pen, what a combination that would be. Exciting times are ahead for Samsung fans.

The Galaxy Z Fold 4 could sport similar-sized screens

The new report coming from South Korea also sheds some light on the screen sizes of the Galaxy Z Fold 4. Despite people favoring the square-ish form factor of the OPPO Find N, which makes the outer screen more usable like a regular smartphone, Samsung seemingly isn’t going to change things much with its upcoming foldable. It will reportedly feature similar-sized screens as compared to the Galaxy Z Fold 3. We are talking about a 7.56-inch foldable inner display and a 6.19-inch secondary display on the outside. That said, with the device expected to arrive in the second half of this year, there’s still plenty of time for Samsung to make changes if necessary though. We will keep you posted.
