The Maps team has been working on showing toll prices since last year As Android Police notes, Google has been working on this feature since last year. But the announcement didn’t come until April 2022. The rollout has been pretty staggered since then, and it’s now making its way to more devices. The pricing information is gathered via local tolling authorities, Google said. However, Maps won’t show you tolls for each road....
The Air Quality layer on Maps can be accessed from the same layers menu that you use to switch between satellite and default map views. It’s the circular button below the search bar and carousel of quick search categories. Tapping this button will pull up the menu with various types of maps. At the bottom-right corner under the “Map details” section, you’ll find the Air Quality layer. Select this layer to see the quality of air in your locality and places nearby....
The problem of trolls on the Internet can sometimes get to the point of annoyance. The trolls try to annoy people by editing useful information in applications such as Google Maps or Wikipedia. Per Spin’s announcement, Google Maps users will be able to see its nearest available electronic bike and scooter when they plan a journey or look up directions to a location. The vehicles reportedly appear in both the bicycle and the public transportation tab. You’ll find information like the estimated battery range and expected arrival time. Maps will also show how long it will take to walk to the vehicle. Once you’re ready to take a vehicle to ride, you’ll be redirected to the Spin app for payment....

In a blog post, Google has detailed when Workspace admins will receive these security alerts. Firstly, any changes to the primary admin will trigger the alert. Additionally, admins will also be notified when a third-party SSO (single sign-on) profile has been added and enabled for their organization. The alerts will pop up on updating or deletion of a third-party SSO profile as well. Last but not least, a password reset for a super admin account will also generate a security notification....

According to a Motherboard report, the hacker got access to the Verizon database by tricking an employee to grant them remote access to their corporate computer. They posed as internal support and convinced the victim through social engineering.
